Waxing is a temporary method for removing unwanted facial or body hair with the use of warm wax. Unlike shaving, which leaves the hair feeling coarse and stubby and must be repeated almost daily, waxing leaves the skin smooth for weeks. Generally, waxing should be done every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the rate of hair growth. For effective waxing, the hair needs to be 1/8 inch above the skin surface, for some clients this is approximately two weeks growth. Over time most clients see a major decrease in the hair re-growth on the body due to waxing. We use topical anesthetic when requested.
